| Job Description: |
We are seeking a patient, dedicated, and nurturing home tutor to provide personalized academic support for a Grade 1 student. The tutor will help strengthen foundational skills in reading, writing, math, and general knowledge in a home-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach basic subjects: English, Math, Science, and Social Studies according to Grade 1 curriculum.
- Reinforce school lessons and help with homework assignments.
- Use interactive and age-appropriate teaching methods to make learning engaging.
- Track the student’s academic progress and provide regular feedback to parents.
- Identify learning gaps and tailor instruction to meet individual needs.
- Develop and implement creative learning activities, including reading stories, phonics practice, number games, etc.
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
