Responsibilities:
• Support management of events such as alumni reunions and conferences in close coordination with embassy/consulate officials and (Pakistan U. S. Alumni Network) PUAN secretariat.
• Work closely with the Embassy/Consulate and PUAN office to reach out to alumni of the respective region.
• Provide encouragement and support to USG alumni to apply and compete for the PUAN Grants Program in Pakistan.
• Provide PUAN Grants training to interested alumni with the help of local chapters.
• Compile reports from grantees on the completion of small grant projects and chapter activities.
• Develop contacts with new alumni and alumni not currently in the active alumni networks.
• Organize membership campaigns and enrollment campaigns to bring new alumni into the network.
• Represent PUAN at various events/ceremonies organized by Chapters and Educational & Cultural Affairs (ECA) implementing partners.
• Work closely with PUAN chapters in developing and closing of bi-annual plans.
• Provide advance notification to embassy/consulate and PUAN officials to attend or publicize events resulting from grants and chapter activities.
• Assist Consulate officers and PUAN officers with monitoring and site visit trips.
• Maintain regular contact with alumni and grant recipients to gauge activity or grant progress, troubleshoot issues, and monitor the awards.
• Login to PUAN database to add/update/verify PUAN alumni.
• Work closely with EducationUSA teams to represent PUAN.
• Coordinate with national and regional chapters, including travel to different cities and willing to support Communications and Monitoring and Evaluation teams.
• Work with the Mission alumni coordinators to distribute information to alumni.
• Perform other official duties, as and when assigned by the PUAN Secretariat.
Requirements:
- U. S. Bachelors or a Pakistani Masters in related discipline.
- Three years of relevant work experience.
- Expert level in both verbal and written English skills.
- Flexible for travel within assigned region of Pakistan.
