THIS JOB IS BASED IN GHARO, DISTRICT THATTASALARY BRACKET - 75,000 - 85,000/-

Job Requirement:

• Assist EHS Manager and Deputy Manager EHS in preparation of documents and maintain records for implementation;


• Assist in communication and coordination with the contractors team on site and arrange meetings when required;


• Assist Deputy Manager EHS in implementation of management measures on site and record observations of non-compliance by the contractors;


• Assist senior colleagues in liaising with consultants and receiving proposals for various EHS functions;


• Assist the senior colleagues in carrying out internal audits;


• To perform orientation and training of contractors team working at the project site;


• To assist in the implementation of emergency response plan in case of any emergency;


• Carry out Risk assessments or Job hazards analysis of new projects or critical activities through contractor staff;


• Investigation of any incident or near miss that occurs at the site and taking follow-up to close the action items mentioned in an incident report in coordination with contractor staff;


• Organize Mock drills regarding firefighting and Emergency Response procedure to assess the readiness of EMP in coordination with the contractor staff;


• To ensure implementation of permit to work system at the site;


• Conducting weekly contractors safety meetings to discuss issues at the site;


• To ensure safe operation of critical jobs like Crane Activity, Excavations, Manual Handling, etc.

Additional Knowledge/Skills:

• Adequate knowledge of ISO 45001, 14001,


• Adequate Knowledge of International Standards (NFPA, OSHA or equivalent, IOSH),


• Adequate knowledge of construction safety and work at height challenges,


• Adequate knowledge of applicable local laws of EHS.
