BDS is looking for Dynamic Talent as VOIP Specialist
The candidate will have Experience in Installing, configuring and deployment of Asterisk, Asterisk based applications like Go AutoDial, Vicidial, IVR and FreePBX (particularly with DID configuration/routing). A thorough understanding of VoIP, networking and security protocols; experience of working within Asterisk environment, particularly with experience of configuring Asterisk for new product deployment. Proven track record of deploying Dialers or IVR applications in an enterprise environment. Proficiency in the following programming languages: MySQL, PHP, Perl, AGI and Shell Scripts
Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting; solid technical skills coupled with a can-do-it attitude.
This position requires certain flexibility.
Responsibilities:
· Enjoy inbound phone calls to resolve tech support issues for Resellers learning Open Standards based VoIP solutions.
· Track open trouble tickets and find resolution for issues.
· Troubleshoots VoIP issues utilizing packet capture tools and VoIP server log
· Directly work with manufacturers of VoIP equipment forwarding issues
· Implement ABP technical standard practice, and maintains CSC related activity calendars and policy / procedure documentation.
· Must have good trouble shooting skills in using network testing tools such as Wireshark, Tcpdump
· Experience trouble shooting Vici Dialers and Asterisk would be useful.
· Should also know MySQL databases and VoIP
· Must be prepared to work outside of core hours to address emergency activity if required
