| Job Description: |
- Experience with Public Facing High Traffic Web Applications
- Reallygood jQuery experience (making Ajax requests with jQuery, working withJSON, manipulating the DOM, working with the callbacks, async versussync)
- Good understanding of CSS (understands what types of selectors there are, can create their own classes)
- Strong experience with C# (understands OOP concepts, worked with design patterns)
- StrongSQL experience (can write stored procedures, functions, views andtables. Good with troubleshooting SQL performance issues)
- Good asp.net experience (Has worked with web forms, understands the page life cycle)
- Working with Caching, SQL, T-SQL, C# and ASP.Net
- Working with Aggregated Data in a High Traffic Public Facing Web Environment
- Adding new features and functionality to an already robust platform that provides web based solutions to brokers
- Interfacingwith Business Analysts to effectively implement business requirementsinto technology enhancements and new features to improve the platform
- Work with a team of software developers to deliver products on time.
- Excellent knowledge and work experience on designing and developing complex software applications.
- Proficient on programming software applications with asp.net under Windows
- Proficient on using Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server.
- Experience with web based applications is preferred.
- Working understanding of Agile software engineering processes and methodologies.
- Must be a fast learner. Be able to come up to speed on new applications and technology in a very short amount of time.
- Must be details oriented, with strong analytical skills and problem solving skills.
- High degree of self-motivation. Must be able to plan and execute work both independently and as a team member.
- Ability to prioritize and manage several tasks at once.
