| The ideal candidate should
- Holds a CA Finalist, ACCA, ACMA degree and Bachelors degree (Equivalent) with specialization in the area of Financial Accounting Reporting)
- Have at least 3 years of practical training with any of the Big 4 Chartered Accountants firm. (1-2 years post qualification experience). Telecom industry experience will be a plus
Job Description
- Effectively manage monthly closing and reporting process in order to meet the deadlines specified by the group;
- Ensure all the transaction and events are accounted for in accordance with the requirements of International Financial Reporting International Accounting Standards (IFRS IAS), giving special attention to complex accounting treatments of loans and derivatives;
- Manage accurate and timely recording of closing journal entries to ensure all financial reporting properly reflects such accruals and adjustments.
- Prepare monthly individual and consolidated management accounts including performance of variance analysis with budget and historic management accounts.
- Manage the reconciliation of different modules and subsidiary ledgers with General Ledger and maintenance of audit schedules
- Ensure compliance with group accounting and reporting manual
- Work with the external auditors throughout the audit process, in order to get the clean report on financial statements;
Essential Skills
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Companies Ordinance 1984;
- Experience in preparation of the Financial Statements as compliant with IFRS and management accounts;
- Strong communication, inter-personal and analytical skills
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge/ experience of US GAAP
- Fair knowledge of Oracle Financials and Hyperion software for consolidation
- Highly Proficient in MS Office; Oracle Know-how will be a plus
