We are seeking a results-oriented database & DevOps engineer to help optimize the performance of our organization's databases and deployment phases with experience in DevOps culture best practices having 3 to 4 years of experience.

Your responsibility as a database & DevOps engineer will be the performance, integrity, and security of a database and as well deploying/configuring it in the production environment is required. You'll be involved in the planning and development of the database, as well as in troubleshooting any issues on behalf of the users. You will be enhancing our data storage capacity, writing new support programs and scripts, and troubleshooting database code as well implementing DevOps practices on various cloud and on-prem environments.

•  Assist in the design and development of database systems
•  Optimize database systems for performance and reliability
•  Test database systems and perform bug fixes
•  Provide database solutions based on technical documents and business requirements
• Develop database functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development
• Ensure data integrity and quality in database systems
• Maintain standard policies for database development activities
• Identify and rectify database errors promptly
•  Create physical and logical database models as per the business requirements.
•   Manage and monitor performance, capacity, and security of database systems.
• Prepare documentation regarding database design, configuration, and change management tasks
• Mentor database administrators to manage the company databases effectively.
• Perform data back-up and archival on a regular basis
• Design and build infrastructure and systems that provide high levels of scalability, reliability, and performance
• Work with the engineering team to continuously implement and improve reliable and speedy build environments for DEV, QA & PROD and provide timely build status updates. 
• Implement continuous integration (CI) & continuous delivery (CD) workflows between all environments to automate as much as possible and improve efficiency and quality of releases Promote innovation, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, and self-organization 
• Ensure traceability, observability, and retrievability of system behavior 
• Build logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to identify bottlenecks and assist with debugging analysis, and optimization in the cloud, on-prem, and store environments 
•   Experiment with and recommend new technologies that simplify or improve the overall performance 
•  Craft solid and clearly explained designs, playbooks, and documentation, for consumption by teammates and the larger engineering organization 
• Participate in off-hours on-call support, 
•  Perform periodic off-hours release work during maintenance windows 
• Work closely with key stakeholders to capture, analyses, and derive DevOps requirements
