PART-TIME POSITION

• Initial 6-month contract, possibly becoming a permanent part-time position thereafter.
• Ideal for an established professional looking for a second income.
• Working remotely with a UK-based software company.
• You must be a very experienced, excellent PHP developer, with a very strong portfolio.

The following are essential:

• Expert in understanding and implementation of PHP applications with any database.
• Expert in building new Hand Coded systems/apps in PHP  
• Expert in Customising applications as required.
• Understanding of MVC design patterns.
• Excellent understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Excellent knowledge of jquery and functions implementation.
• Hosting server management and troubleshooting as required (Linux)
• Have good understanding of data security implementation in applications (Both code and database point of view)

Also good to have:

• Excellent Knowledge of Laravel
• JS web framework expertise 
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (Codeigniter, Yii, etc depending on your technology stack).
• Good knowledge of WordPress (or any other CMS in demand these days).
