DataCheck Ltd. is Pakistan’s foremost consumer credit bureau, in operation since 2001. Our clients include Pakistan’s major banks and microfinance institutions. 

Data management and analytics is at the heart of what we do. We are looking for a Head of MIS to support the execution of DataCheck’s data management strategy by using applications that have been developed in-house, as well as other analytical tools to control and interpret data that is received by us from our customers. You will be managing a team of MIS professionals and working with clients who entrust us with their customer data.

The Head of MIS will be responsible for all aspects of the MIS department’s performance, such as:

·         Management of overall MIS related tasks, ability to cascade management vision to team so that they are able to timely meet and deliver objectives.

·         Development and improvement of business processes and their execution with high levels of integrity and efficiency.

·         Performance of sophisticated analyses of customer and industry data as part of DataCheck’s financial risk assessment functions

·         Liaising and meeting with customers to ensure timely reporting of data and reconciliation of data gaps.

·         Provide guidance and train the MIS team in the implementation of department objectives

·         Providing comprehensive, timely and up-to-date reports to senior management on the functioning of the department.

·         Ensure compliance with ISO 27001:2013 standard

The Ideal Head of MIS will have the following qualifications:

·         MBA in MIS / Finance

·         ACCA

·         Team Lead experience

·         4-5 years of Management Information Systems and technology experience in positions of diverse responsibility

·         Good command of query writing skills like Oracle SQL; proficiency with statistical analysis and the use of tools such as MS Excel, SPSS etc.

·         Strong result- and customer-oriented attitude with a proven track record of MIS leadership.

·         Strong interpersonal skills that enable you to build and maintain business relationships with clients, as well as to communicate, influence and negotiate at all levels on behalf of the company

·         Strong employee management, motivation and development credentials

Demonstrated experience in fulfilling all aspects of the responsibilities described above, particularly managing multiple projects, efficiently implementing and executing work plans and successfully overseeing multiple resources simultaneously
